DVD001 - Structure and Movement in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi -DVD |
|
A complete seminar over 2 hours in length on
the Pembroke Welsh Corgi (most of the film
also pertains to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi) by
breeder/judge Stephanie Seabrook Hedgepath.
This DVD covers: The history of the breed,
Welsh geography, drovers and drovers roads, how
to visually examine a Corgi, how to go over a
Corgi "feeling" for structure, how to identify
correct structure.
Also, there is a complete section on movement
including coming, going and side gait. The
movement section has lots of videos showing
both correct movement and also faults in
movement. Videos are shown at regular speed, in
slow motion and some actually step by step.
This video will teach you how to "see"structure
and how to "feel" structure and instructs you
on the way to learn to see and understand
movement.
There are many photographs of dogs from the
1930s with videos of some of the greats of the
mid-1980s, too.
Entire video is narrated by the author,
Stephanie Seabrook Hedgepath
